Among the highlights of Etihad’s growing portfolio is the title sponsorship of the F1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The sponsorship, which commenced with the inaugural 2009 F1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, showcases both Etihad and Abu Dhabi to a global TV audience of over 80 million people. Held at Yas Marina Circuit, the race was a sellout in its first year and voted best event of the 2009 season by the FIA.
