#LETYOURCOLOURSFLY AT YAS ISLAND ON 2ND DECEMBER FOR 45th UAE NATIONAL DAY

: Yas Island has announced the return of its popular National Day Colours celebration on 2nd December.

Organisers have a wide range of family activities lined up at Yas Marina Circuit for Abu Dhabi residents to let their colours fly on the 45th UAE National Day.

Following on from last year’s successful event, thousands of people from the expanding community on and around Yas Island are expected to return on 2nd December to enjoy the free entertainment, which aims to complement other main National Day ceremonies in Abu Dhabi.

Set on Yas Marina Circuit’s iconic Abu Dhabi Hill, the event welcomes all visitors, and guests of all ages can enjoy a celebration of UAE culture. Get ready for a fun day out packed with entertainment and cultural experiences, running from 2.00pm – 7:00pm, including:

  • Fireworks
  • Live Music
  • Oud player
  • Human Claw
  • Story time with Dr. Ahmed
  • Arabic Calligraphy
  • Henna Painters
  • Falconry
  • Harbya Dancers
  • Face Painters
  • Art and Crafts section for the children
  • Inflatable Amusement Rides
  • Caricaturists

The festivities come just seven days after Yas Marina Circuit hosts the 2016 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX to round off the racing season in style.

Set against a back drop of GP2 and GP3 testing, see the F1® drivers of tomorrow set the pace in a private testing session. Entry is free for all.
