YAS MARINA CIRCUIT TEAMS UP WITH #THEADMOVEMENT IN A BID TO GET WOMEN LEADING HEALTHIER LIFESTYLES
Ramadan initiative to get more local ladies active
#theADmovement will be featuring at Yas Marina Circuit during its GoYAS ladies-only fitness session on Wednesday 15th June
This Wednesday, 15th June, GoYAS by Daman’s ActiveLife supported by Fatima bint Mubarak Ladies Sports Academy at Yas Marina Circuit will play host to a unique, free-of-charge female-only event, #theADmovement. Women of all ages and abilities are encouraged to come together at the Circuit’s GoYAS evening to celebrate a special Ramadan evening of all things health and well-being across the UAE.
Launched on the 12th March, #theADmovement was created by Abeer Amiri, a Personal Trainer, Sarah Al Nowais, an Emirati Health Coach Student and fitness blogger and nutrition enthusiast Kristin Anderson with the aim to encourage and inspire more women across the UAE to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. The movement also aims to create an environment that allows women to motivate and support one and other in order to achieve their personal goals.
Participants will be able to enjoy a variety of activities revolving around fitness, nutrition, and well-being. Activities on the day include bootcamp, yoga, N+TC Dance Fusion sessions, instructor-led cycling around the Yas Marina Circuit track, meaningful discussions with #EndSmallTalk, and complimentary posture screenings, foot assessments, and massages. Participants will also have the opportunity to purchase healthy food items & clothing through various pop-up stores on the day.
In the charitable spirit of Ramadan #theADmovement are also inviting participants to bring non-monetary donations to the event that are in new or good/useable condition i.e. male and female clothing items, household items, personal care/hygiene items or children's items.
Participants can pre-register on the GoYAS by Daman’s ActiveLife page at www.yasmarinacircuit.com. Gates open at 8:30pm via the Yas Central entrance. Event will finish by 11:30pm.Back to news
