THE CLIENT:

An Abu Dhabi government organization responsible for building lifelong visitor value for the Emirate. Miral is mandated to promote and develop Yas Island and the attraction within it.

THE EVENT:

A family focused, National Day festival incorporating interactive family and cultural entertainment, market stalls, drift race show and fireworks in addition to an exciting line up of live entertainment, roaming performers and children's activates.

THE OBJECTIVE:

• Generate footfall from a local audience
• Provide a platform for Yas Island assets to gain exposure for their products, promoting awareness and encouraging return footfall
• An initiative for the community to come together, instilling a sense of national pride within a celebratory event

THE DELIVERY:

8000+ guests enjoyed a non stop delivery of entertainment with live music, children's play areas, stage entertainment, interactive culture and heritage zones, drift racing and culminating in a spectacular firework display.

EVENT FEATURES:

• A human claw machine, where guests were plunged into a pit of balls for the opportunity to win prizes from Yas Island Assets.
• Continuous mix of traditional Emirati and family entertainment.
• To encourage event registrations, a ‘Yas Island Gold’ prize with Yas Island experiences including hotels, theme parks and restaurant vouchers.
• Children’s story telling sessions with Dr Ahmed, a UAE National Children’s book author who then signed copies for children.
• A coloring competition rolled out to Yas Island assets in the month leading into the event and displayed at the event.
