Yas Heat Academy invites young Emirati talents to take part in AL SABQ, where the next generation of racing champions will be discovered and nurtured.
Entry is free, registration is required, and slots are limited.
RULES & REGULATIONS
EVENT DETAILS
- Date: Saturday April 18th 2026
- Venue: Yas Kartzone, Yas Marina Circuit
- Time: Full-day event (Schedule shared upon registration)
WHO CAN REGISTER?
- Nationality: Open to UAE Nationals only - Boys & Girls
- Age: Must not turn 8 before December 31, 2026
- Height: Between 105 cm and 110 cm
- Weight: Maximum of 25 kg
- Pre-Requirement: All participants must complete a 10-minute track familiarization session at Yas Kartzone before event day – This can be booked by calling 800 927 or visiting Yas Kartzone for Adults, Kids & Juniors | Yas Marina Circuit
HOW TO REGISTER
- Prepare all the documents: Parent's Emirates ID | Child's Emirates ID | Child's passport photo
- Fill up the registration form here.
- Send an email to [email protected] with the information above.
- Registration is first come first serve, if your documents are eligible, we will respond to you with a confirmation email.
Deadline: Registration closes (11th of April 2026)
WHAT’S AT STAKE?
The top 2 male and top female drivers will win:
- A fully funded racing seat in local Bambino karting championship
- Official entry into Yas Heat Academy’s driver development program
WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY
- Up to 20 participants
- A mix of: Fitness & focus challenges
- Multiple Time Trials
- Driving behavior evaluations
- Karts, safety gear, and racing suits provided by Yas Heat
- Winners will be determined based on a points-based system to determine winners
KEY RULES AT A GLANCE
- All drivers will drive different karts throughout the day (random lottery).
- Track layout may change at organizer’s discretion.
- Minimum weight (kart + driver): 77kg (ballast provided if needed).
- Drivers must wear full gear including gloves, helmets, and race suits (provided).
- Parents/guardians are not allowed on track or in pit lane during trials.
- Any breach of conduct may result in penalties or disqualification.
