YAS CAR TRACK DAY

WHAT TO EXPECT
- Please arrive 30 mins prior to your scheduled experience time.
- Yas Marina Circuit has implemented a number of precautionary measures in order to protect visitors and staff alike. We have looked to create a contactless registration process across all of the activities going live.
- We aim to provide a positive and smooth customer experience. You will receive an email to complete the driving license and waiver procedures digitally. Our customer service will reach out to guests who fail to upload documents to ensure they do so prior to arrival, this is a mandatory requirement (bookings & document collections will close 1 hour prior to the arrival).
- Additional Drivers and passengers shall book in advance before arrival at the circuit.
- Participants are allowed to bring a total of 3 people to accommodate for either crew members or media personnel.
- Please have your ticket order number available upon arrival. Our customer service team will validate your booking and assist you to the allocated Pit Garages
- You will receive a safety briefing where you will be briefed on racing line, braking points, overtaking rules, dos & don’ts plus general safety on track.
- Following last safety information, you will proceed to an incredible driving experience.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Participants must have had taken part in two Yas Track days at YMC to be eligible for the Intermediate sessions.
- All drivers must present a valid UAE license (residents) or a domestic license from their home country (nonresidents); FIA/ASN race licenses are also acceptable as long they have valid driving license from authority.
- Driver’s minimum age is 18 years. If your current driving license does not mention the initial issuing date, please be ready to present proof of your previous driving license.
- All participants must be suitably attired for driving at speed which includes crash helmet (with chin strap fastened) and suitable flat-soled footwear as a bare minimum.
- For safety, the wearing of UAE national dress and/or open-toed or loose-fitting sandals is prohibited.
- The following vehicles are not permitted to participate in Car Track Days on safety grounds: Cars without a valid road registration, Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs), Vehicles with either more or less than four wheels,and race cars.
- Electric vehicles (EVs) may be permitted to participate; however, such cars must be issued with a sticker at registration which must be prominently displayed in the windscreen (top right, passenger side) to aid identification whilst out on circuit.
- Rear-seat passengers are not permitted under any circumstances.
- GoPro-type cameras may only be used in compliance to secure mounting requirements; GoPro-type cameras may only be used in compliance to secure mounting requirements; Lead Instructor and/or Race Control reserve the right to instruct that a camera be removed on safety ground.
- Cameras attached to helmets are not permitted.

NOVICE
- No prior track experience required.
- Prohibited vehicles: Race cars, cars without valid road registration, sports utility vehicles (SUVs), vehicles with more or less than four wheels.
INTERMEDIATE
- Eligibility: Must have participated in two Novice sessions at Yas Marina Circuit or hold an FIA/ASN Competition License.
- Prohibited vehicles: Prohibited vehicles: Race cars, cars without valid road registration, sports utility vehicles (SUVs), vehicles with more or less than four wheels.
ADVANCED
- Eligibility: Must have participated in two Intermediate sessions at Yas Marina Circuit or hold an FIA/ASN Competition License.
- Permitted vehicles: Road legal cars and racing cars.
- Prohibited vehicles: Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) , vehicles with more or less than four wheels.
