Karters can take part in the Sodi World Series #AbuDhabiGP Cup 2023, with two days of action on track and exclusive prizes up for grabs

Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, XX November 2023: Formula 1 fans looking to get their own racing fix can head to Yas Kartzone and test out their track skills during this year's FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX weekend, as the Sodi World Series #AbuDhabiGP Cup returns for 2023.

The two-day karting series at Yas Kartzone will see drivers compete for the chance to earn points in the Sodi World Series, with the weekend’s top racers earning exclusive prizes to enjoy at Yas Marina Circuit, including a Formula Yas 3000 driving experience, the closest that fans can get to testing out the high speeds of a Formula 1 car.

Held on Wednesday 22nd and Friday 24th of November from 7:30 pm, the competitions kick off with a 15-minute qualifying session, following which racers will compete in 2 consecutive races over 12 laps each as they try to defend their position and climb the SWS rankings across the two days.

Drivers who finish on the podium will be awarded with thrilling Yas Marina Circuit experiences, with a Formula Yas 3000 experience for first place, while drivers finishing in second and third places will have the opportunity to drive the track in the iconic Aston Martin GT4, or an Alfa Romeo exclusive experience.

There will be plenty of prizes up for grabs, with riders who finish in fourth place earning an incredible Caterham experience from the SWS #AbuDhabiGP Cup.

Tickets are available for fans to compete in the region's favourite karting series, with single entry fees for Round 1 starting from just 450 AED, and Round 2 entries from 650AED including access to Friday at this year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Karters looking to compete in both rounds can avail an exclusive rate of 900 AED including access to the Abu Dhabi GP weekend on Friday for an epic racing weekend.
