Race Briefing & Packs:
An online race briefing will be held before race weekend. A link will be emailed to all registered participants with the date and time announced closer to the event.
Race packs, including a timing band, swim cap (if applicable), and race number, will be available for collection from various locations. Further details will be emailed before the event.
Race Rules:
Swimming: Only allowed aids are a swim cap (provided), goggles, nose clip, and wetsuit if needed. If you need assistance, signal by turning on your back and raising your hand. Holding onto a rescue craft is allowed for rest but not for forward progress.
Cycling: Bikes must be roadworthy with covered handlebars and functional brakes. Helmets must be worn at all times while cycling. You are responsible for counting your laps: 2 for Super Sprint, 4 for Sprint, and 8 for Olympic. Blocking and drafting are prohibited; violations will result in penalties.
Running: Only running or walking is allowed on the run course. Competitors must wear shoes and a shirt. Ensure your race number is visible on your front throughout the run.
Roller Skating: Roller skates are only permitted on the designated track. Use the allocated area to put on your skates before the start. Helmets are mandatory for all roller skaters.
Changing Areas & Toilets:
Separate male and female changing areas will be provided at both the swim-to-bike and bike-to-run transitions.
There will be toilets positioned around the course at easily accessible points. Additionally, there will be toilet facilities at the registration area and accessible for the public throughout the venue.
Race Withdrawal:
If you need to withdraw, inform a race official and return to transition to hand in your timing chip.
