THE RAMADAN KARTING CUP RETURNS FOR A SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, April 14, 2021: Yas Marina Circuit has a host of exciting activities for the whole family to enjoy throughout Ramadan, including driving experiences, karting and both car and bike track days.
That’s right, if you’re on the hunt for ways to stay entertained throughout the Holy Month, look no further than the home of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, where Ramadan at the Circuit will take care of all your needs.
For those people who have always wanted to take part in Drive YAS but never had the chance, now is the perfect time. Test your abilities behind the wheel of an iconic vehicle such as the Formula Yas 3000, the closest most people will get to driving a Formula 1 car, the Aston Martin GT4, which navigates sharp corners with ease, or the Caterham Seven, capable of competing with the most powerful supercars.
Alternatively, head down to Yas Kartzone powered by ADNOC for some fun with the whole family as people of all ages are invited to get behind the wheel, while the Ramadan Karting Cup, split between three age groups, will feature a two-hour endurance race for adults and Time Attack for children and juniors, with fantastic prizes on offer for the standout performers.
To celebrate Ramadan, and to mark the spirit of giving, Yas Marina Circuit will be offering guests 20 percent off on both Drive YAS and karting over the course of the month.
Also available is a Ramadan Track Pass, where one pass guarantees access to every Track Day of its type throughout the month. So, for example, guests purchasing a Car Track Day pass will be able to attend every Car Track Day during Ramadan, with the same applicable to Bike Track Days, Drift Night and Drag Night. The Drag Night pass will also secure attendance to the recently-launched Rolling Drag Night.
Meanwhile, the Community YAS health and fitness events will continue to be held at Yas Marina Circuit throughout Ramadan, providing members of the Abu Dhabi community with the perfect way to keep fit and active.
ADNOC TrainYAS powered by Abu Dhabi Sports Council takes place on Sundays and Tuesdays, from 7-11pm, giving guests of all fitness levels the chance to walk, run or cycle on track, while a female-specific version of the event is in operation every Monday from 7-10pm.
Please note, throughout Ramadan, Drive YAS powered by ADNOC will run from 8pm-midnight, while Yas Kartzone powered by ADNOC will be in operation from 6pm-midnight.
