FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2020

World class motorsport action will return to the UAE when Yas Marina Circuit hosts the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2020 on Sunday 13 December, the culmination of a three-day race weekend which will bring the curtain down on the season. Whilst behind closed doors, the event is a celebration of the best racing talent and teams on the planet coming to Abu Dhabi to do battle in the only day-night race in the F1 calendar.

The 12th instalment of the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX will take place behind closed doors, without spectators due to the continued global situation with Covid-19.

Over the coming months we will look to provide season and race updates leading up the final race in Abu Dhabi. Stay tuned to our social channels.

This year’s race weekend will look to welcome the sport’s biggest stars, including Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Valtteri Bottas expected to take part. Lewis Hamilton will be aiming for a third consecutive Abu Dhabi triumph, and sixth in total, while his Mercedes team have been even more dominant, finishing top of the constructor standings for the past six years in a row.

As the full weekend schedule is published, including details of practice and qualifying sessions, support races and press conferences, we will publish them live on our site.

We will also be providing details of broadcast information, with details of how and where you can watch the race on TV and events going on in Abu Dhabi to celebrate Formula 1 coming to town.
