Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, August 26 2020: It’s another busy weekend at Yas Marina Circuit with plenty of entertainment and activities for all ages, including a Car Track Day, DriveYAS, Karting and three consecutive nights of screenings at the Yas Drive-In Cinema presented by Yas Island.

Regardless of your personal preferences, there is something for everyone with a host of exciting activations taking place across Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Abu Dhabi venue, home to the FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX 2020, which takes place on Sunday 13 December.

Highlights this weekend include a Car Track Day, which is scheduled to take place on the South Circuit on Friday 28 August. A truly unique experience, take your own vehicle out on one of the world’s most iconic circuits and test your skills as you navigate the various track configurations which have tested some of motorsport’s all-time greats down the years.

On Saturday 29 August, DriveYAS returns to the Circuit, giving guests the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a FormulaYAS 3000 and take part in a high-speed, adrenaline-fuelled session out on the track – the closest most people will ever come to driving a real Formula 1 car.

Those guests looking for a dose of light-hearted competitive fun can head down to Yas Kartzone at any point over the course of the weekend where pre-booking is not required.

With three separate track configurations to contend with, and a chance for the best performers to win passes for next month via The Leaderboard Challenge, a trip to Yas Kartzone is guaranteed to enhance your weekend.

The YAS Drive-In Cinema presented by Yas Island will be in operation once more, with tickets available to purchase via yasmarinacircuit.com and reelcinemas.ae.

There are three brilliant movies to look forward to, with the family-friendly Moana on Thursday, followed by Black Panther and The Matrix on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Tickets are priced 160 AED per vehicle with a selection of snacks included in the price – additional F&B is available inside the venue.

If you’re looking for a slightly different experience this weekend, behind-the-scenes tours of the Circuit are available on both Thursday and Friday, enabling guests to catch a glimpse of those areas usually reserved for competitors and officials.

From Tuesday September 1, activities will be available from Wednesday through to Saturday, giving guests plenty of time each week to take advantage of the fantastic offerings at Yas Marina Circuit, but before that there is plenty to look forward to this coming weekend so make sure you don’t miss out.
