Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, UAE, August 20, 2020: Head down to Yas Marina Circuit this coming weekend to enjoy a Formula Yas 3000 driving experience with a 50 percent discount, while movie fans wishing to attend the Yas Drive-In Cinema presented by Yas Island are advised to book early in order to avoid disappointment with four screenings scheduled.

On Saturday 22 August, from 6-10pm, a Saturday Sizzle Offer has been created giving guests the opportunity to experience the Formula Yas 3000 at a heavily discounted rate, with 50 percent off the cost of the usual driving experience.

This is the first time the product has been made available at the incredible reduced rate of 920 AED, meaning there has never been a better time to head down to Yas Marina Circuit and get behind the wheel.

A single-seat racing vehicle with slick tyres and big wings, The Formula Yas 3000 is the closest most people will ever get to driving a real F1 car, an experience guaranteed to provide a high-speed thrill.

Elsewhere at the venue this weekend, the Yas Drive-In Cinema presented by Yas Island will be showing four movies over the course of Thursday, Friday and Saturday, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing evening out as guests can kick back and enjoy a movie without having to step foot outside of their vehicle.

The action gets underway tonight (Thursday 20 August) at 6.45pm with the screening of Frozen 2, the box-office smash hit which is guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained. That is followed by The Greatest Showman, which begins at 9.15pm and stars Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron.

On Friday, the 1980s classic Back to the Future, starring Michael J. Fox as teenager Marty McFly, will be shown on the big screen, a feel-good movie which is certain to kickstart the long weekend in the perfect manner.

Then, on Saturday, it’s Les Miserables, the epic historical period musical based on a French novel of the same name. The film, which was released in 2012, features a stellar cast including Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter, to name just a few.

Located inside a purpose-built venue at Yas Marina Circuit, the Drive-In Cinema provides a unique experience for film fans, who can watch screenings from the comfort of their own vehicle with movie soundtracks played through a dedicated radio channel for visitors’ car stereos.

Customers wishing to attend are advised to book in advance, via yasmarinacircuit.com or reelcinemas.ae.

Having opened its doors in July, the venue enjoyed huge success throughout the opening month with the first three weekends of screenings completely sold out.

That momentum has continued into August, with big numbers in attendance over the first two weekends of the months as films being shown included huge hits such as The Lion King, IT and Love Actually.

Tickets are priced 160 AED per vehicle, with a selection of snacks included in the price, while additional F&B is available inside the venue.

With the health and safety of both staff and customers of paramount importance, a number of measures have been implemented in accordance with Government directives to ensure the health and well-being of everybody inside the venue, including temperature checking with hand-held devices for all guests on arrival and the availability of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) should it be required.

As an added safety precaution, prayer rooms, along with shower and locker facilities, will not be available at any time, while every effort has been made to ensure the customer experience is as contactless as possible, right from the initial online purchase of tickets to departing the venue at the conclusion of the movie.

Guests will also be required to wear facemasks if windows are lowered to speak to event staff, and when leaving their vehicles at any point throughout the event.
